Yesterday the school went to the waterslides for their end of the year celebration. My little ones spent the day with Grandma Linda so that I could focus on my school girls. It was a great day. I am burned to a crisp but it was all worth it!!

My notes on the day:
-wearing no sunscreen will create a burning effect when spending all day in the sun
-Mikayla does not like to sit still, she is on the go at all times
-in the eyes of a 6 and 8 year old, the best thing that happens on a special day like that is the junk food they get to eat.
-Mailee is not a big risk taker
-Mikayla will try anything once
-hopping out of the longest line at the park for a second to talk to your kid and hopping back in will result in a reprimand from the waterpark official and a swift trip to the back of the line:(
-Mike's sister Tammy is great company!

Sunscreen & a wide-brimmed hat - two "musts" for a day in the sun. Glad the kids had fun, too!
